POSITION TITLE: Inside Sales Representative (ISR) EFFECTIVE DATE: January 2010

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for prospecting, developing customer relationships, and managing post-sale relationships for small to mid tier clients. Supports various sales campaigns, initiatives, or Account Executives/Marketing Manager/Managers in defined projects. Identifies assigned clients with larger potential, and sets appointments for appropriate C.TRAC sales staff. ISR has an assigned annual revenue goal of repeating business, and a quota of new business.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Build a strong relationship with e-marketing business partners and related entities, enabling future research into their capabilities on clients’ behalf
  • Provide responsive customer care. Respond to clients calls, emails and requests promptly and effectively. Provide support, consultation and problem resolution
  • Meet monthly activity requirements and sales quotas.
  • Manage retention and upselling efforts for named clients.
  • Implement and manage outbound telemarketing plan for assigned prospect list.
  • Build list of additional prospects that fit the ISR prospect profile.
  • Follow up on leads and list requests that are generated organically via website.
  • Answer inbound phone inquiries and assign to appropriate CTRAC personnel where necessary.
  • Document all new business opportunities via the company sales management system, RevGEN.
  • Keep accurate, up-to-date, actionable records; attend weekly sales meeting and monthly departmental meetings
  • Provide responsive customer care. Respond to clients’ calls, emails and requests promptly and effectively. Provide support, consultation and problem resolution.
  • Work with CSRs and Operations as necessary to ensure on-time delivery of products to customers.
  • Assist co-workers and other departments with needed tasks, respond to questions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or directed to contribute to team effort.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Two to five years outbound phone sales experience required
    • Experience in data management and/or marketing programs a plus
  • Proven computer literacy, including intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals and professional journals. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of employees, executives, vendors, clients, and/or the general public.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to dynamically prioritize according to the situation.
  • Strong professional written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Solid reasoning and problem solving ability.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Internal and external client relations, relationship building, networking and follow-up ability.
  • Ability to get along with others and lead others in situations where no formal authority structure exists.

ENVIRONMENT & WORKING CONDITIONS:


Usual office environment and working conditions that require sitting, standing, typing/keying. Also, some car travel to and from appointments, meetings, and events. May encounter weather conditions while driving, and other environmental conditions at off site meetings.
